Mike Sexton Honored By the PVA

Dear Mr. Sexton,

On behalf of the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), it gives me great pleasure to inform you that you have been selected by the PVA Executive Committee to receive the 2008 PVA Patriot Award.  This special award was created as a means of recognizing individuals who have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to furthering the mission and goals of PVA by working on behalf of paralyzed veterans and others who have sacrificed in defense of our country. 

The 2008 Patriot Award will be presented at PVA's 62nd Annual Convention in Portland, Oregon during the Closing Awards Brunch on Saturday, August 23, 2008. PVA members and their families from around the country will be in attendance and they are looking forward to meeting you. 

In closing, I wish to extend my personal congratulations on your selection as the recipient of the 2008 PVA Patriot Award.  Your generous donations in support of PVA have been nothing short of extraordinary!  As such, you have distinguished yourself as a true patriot and advocate for disabled veterans and you are worthy of this special recognition.
