Well I finally went to Vegas and used my $1300.00 prize package that I won here on NLOP. Let me tell you that it was more than what I expected. You get VIP check-in at the Hard Rock, so when I walked in the door and saw the line at the regular check-in, I just walked right on by and went into VIP services and didn't have to wait. I got checked in and got all of the passes that I needed for everything, Wasted Space, Body English and Rehab.

I went up to my room with the pool view and what a view it was!!!!! I had a big flat screen TV, a bar, a fantastic shower, and a balcony with french doors. I just can't say enough about the accommodations. After freshening up from the flight from Florida, I went down to the poker room. I met Shyla, Todd, and Mickey the poker room managers and told them who I was and what I had won. They said that they didn't have the $125.00 buy-in tourney anymore but what they would do is pay for my buy-ins for the 1PM and 9PM tourneys, I said OK. I played the 1PM tourney and won that for $623.00, then I played the 9PM tourney and chopped the pot for 1st and 2nd place for $397.00. I then went to the crap table and lost $150.00 in 10 minutes because I don't know how to play craps but it looked like everyone was winning and they were having so much fun so I wanted to join in!!!!! (how stupid was that?????)

Saturdays tourneys I had to buy-in myself, the 1PM tourney I finished 5th for $125.00 and the 9PM tourney I finished on the bubble. I paid $115.00 for the buy-ins (Fridays tourneys were free-Saturdays tourneys $115.00) and cashed out $1145.00 minus the buy-ins, I made a $1030.00 profit for the 4 tourneys. Mickey Scott the night poker room manager made me a bounty for Friday nights 9PM tourney, but no one got to collect it because the 2 of us that were left chopped the pot, so he gave each of us a Hard Rock Poker Room hat.

At Saturday nights game I met "Sparkle" that also won the same trip as I did. I played some $1-$2 NL ring games also and ended up winning some money there too. I just can't say enough about the poker room staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I walked out the door of my house Friday morning with $1400.00 cash in my pocket and walked back in the door of my house Monday morning with $2500.00 cash in my pocket. I paid for all of my meals and bought hats and shirts with cash and still made $1100.00 profit!!!!! Not bad for 3 days!!!!!
